BEAUTIFUL WATER

We're used to Destin, FL but headed up to Michigan because it’s closer to home now. The water is gorgeous here. Clear, gradient turquoise to deep blue. Clean. The water is warm, too.

    A beautiful lake
    Crystal Lake is one of the prettiest lakes in Michigan. You can boat, water ski, fish or kayak. The water is so clear you can see down to the bottom in the shallow areas. Water temperature tends to be cold to those who are used to the South. Hanging out at the outlet to the Betsie river is fun. There are several walking trails which take you along the old railroad line. You can also bike them as well. It is designed for all levels of ability. There are plenty of restaurants around to eat at as well as places to shop and rent boats. This lake offers a wonderful vacation location.

    Crystal Lake is a Great Name to Describe It
    We took a special trip around Crystal Lake, and it was such a beautiful drive. The beach looked lovely, and there is such a variety of houses all along the lakeside. There is a cute playground on the beach when you get to Main Street and several restaurants to grab a bite to eat, but some of them close very early.
