A Beautiful Hour or Two Among the Trees
Really, this is an easy stroll on a well-maintained and safe boardwalk along the Kalamazoo River through Marshall. We usually enter at the Brewer Street end near the Dark Horse Brewery. You can walk your dog on a leash along it, and there is a grassy area at the first rest stop east. If you're traveling along Interstate 94, take the Hospital exit south into town, take the second exit off the circle drive at Brooks Fountain, and turn left just past the Dark Horse. (About 5 minutes from the interstate.)
