Swinging on the Beach

The walk out to the lighthouse gives a great view of Lake Michigan. The beach was clean. There was a swing set and a slide on the beach. To swing on the beach was awesome! even for a 60 yr old! We enjoyed Charlevoix.

    Beautiful scenery
    The best time to visit is sunrise or sunset if you want to get a few nice pictures. The lighthouse makes for a pretty background. The water is clear. The beach has nice sand but rocks protect the shoreline and hurt your feet as you walk into the water. Beautiful place to visit. It does have swings.

    Nice walk along the water
    This is a nice easy walk down the pier. It is next to the city beach so you can enjoy both at once. The path leads along the water way to the lake and along the shore. The park area next to the light station and beach is nice as well.
