Best Produce in Michiana
If you are visiting Michiana (Michigan/Indiana border), there is no better produce than that found at Byler's Farm Market near Sturgis, MI. My family has vacationed in the area for four generations, and a daily visit to Byler's is simply part of the vacation experience. Their corn, Michigan peaches, tomatoes, blueberries, etc. are simply the best. They also have yummy baked goods.

You won't find better donuts than here!
I live 4 hours away from Sturgis but when I am going through town, I call ahead to place a special order for cherry (glazed) donuts. They are fantastic. If you get there and there aren't many donuts in the case- just ask. Might be some fresh ones cooling off in the back. Great pie selection too. yes, of course they have great vegetables. But I come for the donuts. Remember they are closed on Sundays

Summertime!
Byler's is an excellent bakery with wonderful goodies, and has a really nice selection of produce and local products. But summertime in the Midwest is sweet corn and tomatoes, and Byler's sweet corn and tomatoes are World class - so much better than any you've had in years. Don't go by on U.S. 12 without stopping for corn and tomatoes!
