Park is open, campground currently closed
The park itself was open, but the entire campground was closed for construction. It was pretty awesome as there were hardly any people there. We had the whole beach to ourselves on Friday and mostly Saturday too. They were plenty of picnic tables that were well kept and grills for cooking on. The beach was very clean as was the water.

Pretty Location
I pulled into this State Park to look for petoskey stones. The beach area is quite sandy and had a gorgeous view of the lake. There is a nice playground and boat ramp. I did not find any petoskey stones but had a great time walking the beach area.

Nice park
This is a nice state park. They do have 50 hookups but there are no full hook ups. Check pictures on line to select your site. There are some that have awesome paved sites with large paved patio areas. The beach area is very nice. The water is amazing and clear. You can walk our very far and it is shallow. Boat dropped area outside the swimming area. Without having full hook ups it would be nice to have a few more slots for water/dumping.
