Day on the Water
After a nice float down the St. Clair River from Sombra, we stop and float around Anchor Bay then close the day in late afternoon at Brown's. The attention at the dock with the attendants is always appreciated. You can call ahead when you bring bigger boats to reserve a spot, which is always nice at the end of a beautiful day to end with a welcoming smile and a spot. The food has always been good. This is a French fry, hamburg, salad, fish kind of place. Drinks are always great and enjoy the cold beer, but you have to try at least one of the "upper shelf" free pour Long Island Iceteas.!!!! Better make sure you have another captain with you, cuz if you have more than one, you should not float your boat. Shoes or no shoes, your still welcome. Dogs are welcome too.

WOW what a crazy place!
Brown's has been around forever...a few different owners over the years but some things are still the same. The walleye dinner is generous and delicious, the sandwiches and other menu items (burgers, bbq pork, salads for example) are also very good, and the atmosphere is always a party! Whether you arrive by boat or car, you're sure to feel the "island" lifestyle very quickly! Lots of fun and well worth trip to the island!

By boat or by land.... definitely a must visit on Harsen's!
Fun atmosphere on a beautiful sunny day or even when the weather isn't the greatest. They have multiple boat wells and helpful deckhands. Generous seating areas, but sometimes difficult to grab an outside spot on the weekend. Sometimes you'll have to wait awhile for your food, so just pack your patience :) no big deal. Food is good, drinks are always good and the people watching is always the best.
