Beautifully frigid

I was looking for a different spot for my wife to photograph the straits and the Bridge. This is a beautiful park with amazing views. There is some historical markers there also. It was February and 11 degrees but still beautiful. I can only imagine what it would look like in the summer.

    Great location
    You cannot have a better view of the Bridge. Park is really nice, full of flowers(even in October). I was there twice. The first time it was part of the Bridge Tour, but weather screwed us up, so there was …no visible bridge! Second time was much better. Beautiful sun, almost no clouds. Beside of bridge, you can see great sunset and some birds(geese, ducks and cormorants). I strongly recommend this place. Bring your camera or phone! RomanP

    Great for rock hunting
    Easy to drive to, great view of the bridge and lots of water access to rock hunt. We spent an hour searching for interesting rocks and beach glass. There's no tables for picnic if that's what you are looking for and to access the water you do need to climb down giant chunks of cement so be careful if you are fragile.
