    Great Zoo
My wife and two kiddos stopped at Boulder Ridge for the first time. My girls are 1 and 4. The zoo was a great size for kids. It was very busy the day we were there and a lot of people were not doing a good job of social distancing. So we just made sure to take our time. There are so many different animals and you can get so much closer than most zoos. The girls loved being really close. There are also so many different animals that you can feed. The girls like the giraffes the best. We also enjoyed the safari ride. We just had to wait since there were a lot of people there. We will go back but maybe not on the weekend.

    Very nice place
This place is very small in walking space but had a ton of animals to see and feed! We fed giraffes, camels, goats, and more. They also had a free bus ride around the property to see some more bigger animals. I appreciated this because then people couldn’t get too close to the animals but still could see them. There were a lot of different types of birds, alligators, primates. We saw more animals here and more active than at the John Ball Zoo. The landscaping and buildings were clean and done well. The extra charges (food for animals, train ride, and lunch food) were reasonably priced.
