One of the Earl Young "Mushroom Houses"
The unique home of the 1920s to 1960s of Earl Young. Most are built of stone, chosen one boulder at a time for exactly the spot it resides in. Undulating seas of cedar shingles, custom windows that have a Hobbit or Snow White and Dwarves feeling.

This is an Earl Young boulder home, not open to public
This is not a public attraction to enter, but it one of the magnificent Earl Young stone homes in Charlevoix. It is the most magnificent one in Boulder Park area and is across from Lake Michigan and is well worth a stroll by. It is available for vacation rental and is also for sale, I believe.
