Borchers Canoe & Kayak, Michigan, United States

Michigan’s nature at its best — Canoeing the Au Sable River.

An amazing spot to canoe the Au Sable. We did two day trips. First day we opted for a shorter ride since we travelled in from out of town. Second day we enjoyed the king ride. We really enjoyed getting passed Burton’s Landing where the water felt a bit faster, less people and more minks. We stayed at the delightful bed and breakfast. We loved everything about our two-night stay at Borcher’s Canoe and Kayak.

    Fantastic place...look no further
The pictures are from canoeing, but we spent the night with Borchers as well....and we chose wisely. This is a very well run, tidy, and personal B&B. You won't be disappointed with your stay here. Breakfast was very good as well. They also do a nice job with the whole Covid cleanliness deal, although we don't go too overboard with it ourselves. We did the 18-mile canoe trip as well and we loved it. We will be back some day and we would only stay here and rent equipment from here.

    Great People!
Highly recommend Borcher's for any of your kayak, canoe or lodging needs in Grayling. We had launched our own kayaks from the public access site just upriver from Borcher's. By the time we reached them, my kayak was filling with water. I asked if I could pull up to the dock & their son said yes & helped me pull up my kayak. I asked if I could rent a kayak from them and he said he could repair mine. He did so without charge. We will definitely use them for any kayak/canoe or lodging needs in Grayling in the future.
