Great live music venue... and good eats!!

Great live music venue with bands playing almost every night and select Sunday afternoons! Mostly blues and jazz, with some R&B and rock thrown in. Cover charge (usually $5 or less) for weekend nights. Come for the music and enjoy the food...pizza, lake perch, Goose burger, and more. Check out their pies for dessert! Great neighborhood hangout!!

    Best Lake Perch Dinners!
Being a lifelong fisherman when the urge for a big perch dinner calls there's only one place for me and it's the Blue Goose Inn! They have a big platter of perch which I love with a side of cole slaw. They also serve up great burgers, have a full bar and offer entertainment on Fridays and Saturday's. Great place to take the family.

    Tried and True
This place has been a staple in The Shores forever. I'd say it's less the place to grab a bite and more of a place to catch live entertainment and libations. They DO have food, but I can't in all fairness comment on it because I haven't eaten there. I just see the daily special posted when driving by. What they are really known for in the area is live entertainment, which is pretty cool because that's kind of a dying breed in the age of karaoke and bar trivia and I have respect for that. I have seen some very solid blues bands/jams there, and it seems to be a place for local musicians to display their chops. Sometimes filled up if they have a special event and sometimes sparse, the atmosphere is decidedly casual and populated by locals so you don't have to worry about putting on the ritz. Grab a brew, listen to live tunes and grab a bite if you so desire. You'll be keeping a local tradition alive and feeding The Goose, so to speak.
