As you enter Bay View, you will be greeted by a series of quaint gingerbread houses with a lovely view of Lake Michigan. During your stay, you can enjoy the tranquility of the town combined with an abundance of shopping and dining options within biking distance. I highly recommend renting a cottage and taking the time to recharge.

Vespers is Amazing
After a year of COVID, we booked 3 Sunday night Vespers programs and the concerts and artists were as we remembered truly amazing. Part of the mission of Bay View is spiritual growth and that is why I attend Vespers as often as possible. The way BV members surround the audience at the closing singing “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” directed by Chris Ludwa gives me goose bumps and brings tears to my eyes. This is a magical place.

Charming community with tons of activities
A perfect small summer community! Bay View is beautiful to walk around with all of its charming and historic cottages and buildings, and they have so many activities - from concerts on Wednesday and Sunday nights to a musical and an opera every year, to other special concerts throughout the season. There's also a full slate of educational programming, daily lectures on a variety of topics, and a fantastic recreation program for kids. All activities are open to members and non-members alike. You can rent cottages here or stay at the Bay View Inn or the Terrace Inn (both of which have great restaurants.) It's a fantastic place to stay and play!
