Best view
This is a great place to go for a run, walk, hike, bike ride, or a picnic. You can walk up the 400 plus steps and enjoy the view or you can take the hiking trail around and end up at the top too. It is 2.2 miles if you use the hiking trail. There is a water fountain at the top that works in the summer and fall. There are two observation areas at the top of the steps. The view from the top of the steps is worth it for anyone who is thinking it might be too tough.

Free outdoors enjoyment
My family used the area in three different ways while visiting Boyne City for 4 days. The Frisbee golf course was decent. My son used the hiking trails for running. My wife and I took a walk up the stairs to enjoy the view. Thank you for maintaining the area for all to use.
