    Delightful!
The museum is in the middle of historic Marshall making it an excellent place to explore this very small but cute downtown district. Loved the American Museum of Magic and enjoyed chatting with the Director who was attending to the guests upon arrival. She gave us a brief history of the most important artifacts and some background on the museum. We spent about one hour there; just two floors and very rewarding in size and content. We were just three of about 6 people there, so social distancing was easy, everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was available. There are a few items for sale and a clean unisex bathroom. No food or drink.... but plenty nearby. Recommended! In conjunction with a walk along the Kalamazoo River, which was also delightful!

The largest museum of magic in the country.
We visited this museum with the Three Rivers Outreach program. We toured with two different groups of about 60 people. There were children of all ages. It is a spectacular place with thousands of original posters and magic items. Magic is dated from a book written in the 1500s to present. A resident magician discusses an demonstrates some magic. There are large displays of Houdini and Blackstone. An absolute must for anyone who enjoys any form of magic.
