Great campground overall
I stayed here with my ten year old and five year old. We were in a tent. The campsites are quite small. People with large trailers may have a hard time getting into some of the sites. Our site was on the water, which was nice. There was enough room for our tent, an easy up over the picnic table and then the fire pit. The car had to be parallel parked along the road. The bathrooms were clean, the camp store has ice cream, ice, wood and all the other things you would expect a camp store to have. The beach is very nice and sandy. They also have kayak and canoe rentals. The Lake is not huge and it’s no wake so it’s perfect for kayaking. We fished right from our camp site and caught tons of fish! I will definitely return to this campground.

Great Campground
This is not a resort campground. Your entertainment is the outdoors with dirt roads, campsites that you have to engineer level, and trails to walk to the beach. This is the campground for those who truly enjoy the the spirit of camping and the outdoors. The campsites are well kept, the showers are clean and warm and the beach is fabulous. It's close enough to Metro Detroit to feel on vacation without driving hours. We love this campground and will keep returning.

Quiet, basic
Our site was horrible!! So uneven and slopped downward we couldn’t park the camper where it’s supposed to sit. Had to park it along the road off to the side and over 50’ from electric box. Stepping out the camper door was treacherous because of the downhill grade. Swimming looked refreshing but decided not to because they DON’T test the water. Why? Seems pretty basic to me! Do your self a favor and camp elsewhere.
