    Must do when in Liverpool
A must do when you're in Liverpool. We visited twice on Good Friday which happened to be my husband's birthday. First in the afternoon where we paid £5 for entry and then again in the evening where we had booked to watch the Cavern Club Beatles. The afternoon was was really good and the guitarist was playing covers which we really enjoyed and there was a great atmosphere. There's not much seating though which I understand but it was slightly annoying that I went to sit on a bar stool when they became free and a lady shouted at me that they were taken, even though no one was there and when I said, do you need all 6 seats she said I'm not sure yet. When her friends joined her from the bar there was only 4 of them but they took over 2 seats on a table and 4 bar stools which quite honestly was selfish. As we had already heard a lot of Beatles and done a few tours etc I wondered if the Cavern Club Beatles would be worth it but it was definitely the highlight of our trip. It honestly felt like being in the 60's and that we were watching John, Paul, Ringo and George. It really made my husband's birthday and I would definitely recommend going to anyone visiting Liverpool who loves the Beatles. We went on the Friday evening and there was quite a bit of seating if you got there early enough otherwise there was space to stand at the back.

    Fantastic venue
Everyone who works at the Cavern Club is welcoming and friendly, from the friendly handsome doorman Paddy to all the bar staff. Bar Prices are the same as most of the bars in city, reasonable and a good selection of drinks. Coffee is also available. Lots of things to buy at the gift shop and the quality of the T- Shirts and Hoodies are really good value for money. There was 2 acts on whilst I was there, 1 act in the back room (live lounge) Gary - he was exceptionally talented on the guitar and a gent called John Keats in the front room who was brilliant. I had a really great afternoon, the atmosphere was buzzing with everyone in a great mood singing along with the artists (all live music) Nothing a bad word to say - highly recommend
