Visit with a disabled child
I just want to say wow. I am a 1:1 for a child at a school and contacted the museum to book in for the little Liverpool Exhibit as they couldn’t access what the rest of the class where doing and they were very happy to help, giving me lots of information and put tickets aside. When we arrived at the museum the tickets were waiting and the gentleman at the exhibit knew that we were coming, knew that the child had autism and made a Conscious effort to make them feel welcome, he even said that he was a special guest and brought the person I had booked with over just to say hello and make sure we were okay. He caught up with us after just to make sure everything was okay. The man in the exhibit made sure we were comfortable and showed us how things worked giving us warning of when things could change, so we could let the child know in advance. I honestly can not praise the museum staff enough for how welcoming and understanding they were and there disabled toilets were absolutely brilliant, and very well equipped. 110% recommend this museum for anyone but specially those with children with ASD or disabilities absolutely brilliant!

Excellent museum experience
This is a free museum, which offers visitors the chance to make a ‘recommended donation’ of £5. It is well worth donating to - there is plenty to see here. Travel through time in Liverpool/the Merseyside area and indulge particularly on the top floor in its rich pop culture. Bathrooms on bottom and top floor - always a bonus.
