Fish the Creek at the Spillway or Bridge

Mendota Lake Park consists of two lakes, a creek, playgrounds, barbecue area, ballparks, basketball court, skateboard area, and shopping and cafes in the surrounding area. Visiting here brought back memories of taking my son fishing here when he was younger. You must fish the creek at the bridge or spillway. The creek is between the two lakes. They refer to it as the dam, but it's a spillway from Lake Kakusha to Lake Mendota. Fish drop in the spillway from Lake Kakusha and remain in the spillway and they also enter the creek. You can catch bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish in the spillway and creek. They can also be of large size also.
