Great experience with real human touch

Great experience, a much more quality and human touch than in any other place in Vietnam. The goide - Mr Thanh - was not only very kind, but most important very open for our interest in Delta and very involved to give us the best experience. We were traveling throug Vietnam from north, so in Ben Tre we were already after two weeks of different experiences, with smiling tour operators selling services and later not relevant or even untrue services delivered. With Dinho Ecotour it was different! Open and helpful people, very human and friendly, but not fake smiling and most important incredible good treatment and all exactly as is should be for a local tour in local boat and food in homestay. :))) ps. Mr Than - one of the coconuts is still growing :)))

Highly Recommend Dinho Ecotour of Ben Tre area
We booked the 3 hour Mekong Boat trip tour the day before. All our emails to arrange the trip were promptly and kindly answered by Dinh. We loved the tour! Our guide, Tho, met us at the Ben Tre Riverside Resort where we were staying and we were first on a covered boat on the Mekong River. Tho explained several sights along the riverside. Her English was very good. We visited one place where the coconuts were prepared for use and saw the many steps involved. We also visited a coconut candy making operation. At one point we were able to leave the boat, walk around a market and in a village. We stopped at a homestay and were provided with refreshing coconuts to drink coconut milk. Dinh was there and it was very nice to meet him. We also stopped at another family business where straw mats were made. Tho provided an explanation for everything. We then boarded a very small boat to see the narrow waterways. We were given the typical conical hats to wear and we needed them to provide a little bit of shade from the hot sun. We then had a little walk through some fruit plantations to get back on board our bigger boat for the return trip. Our tour lasted quite a bit longer than the original planned 3 hours and we were very pleased with everything we had seen and Tho's explanations. We highly recommend the tour.

Nice day tour, but could be better
We had a great guide for this tour in Ben Tre, and the owner met us and was quite nice. The lunch was good with way too much food. Good transport and driver from our hotel in HCMC. As a photographer, there was not much to shoot on the village bike tour. There was not much happening in the middle of the day in the part of the delta where we were. It was nice to see some coconut workers, but there wasn't much else to see.The boats were nice, but the bikes were old and rusted in terrible condition - please buy some newer cheap mountain bikes with decent seats. I expect more for $100 per person.
