Worth a visit, easier than getting into Boston

I was here for the first time in November for Tom Segura the comedian, and it was a decent venue. The theatre is pretty old and needless to say is that they haven't done many renovations to it. When you buy tickets for this venue you will get the benefit of being pretty close to the stage in many of the seats, but I would recommend the balcony before you get the orchestra seats toward the back. The seats are small, standard for when they were installed, so be prepared to be close with your neighbors. If you go in thinking about a classic theatre that may have lost some of it esthetics, then you'll be going in with the right mentality. Parking for the venue can be a challenge. Street parking is limited. They have a few lots that are like $30 for the show, but you can also park over near townhall and walk over. That is pretty cheap.

    Nice Theatre
The best things about this theatre is the folks helping you with your seats. They were very eager and willing to help and it was very nice. The seats themselves were old and not very comfortable. We went there last night to see Jim Gaffigan and unfortunately sat to the left of the door. The show started about 15 minutes late but people kept arriving and standing in front of us and it was so loud with the door open and last arrivals that we missed most of the first comedian. Jim was great as always and the show was short enough that you could get home in a reasonable hour. A nice take if you go out to dinner beforehand at Salvatore's and make it a nice evening.

    Old School Layout - Uncomfortable.
Attended the Get The Led Out venue last night. The theater is on old high school auditorium. Hard wooden seats that are very narrow and very uncomfortable. The slope of the theater is very slight, difficult to see in front of you and the seats are perfectly aligned. The balcony level has no bathroom, the only facilities are on the main floor. Do not recommend concerts at this facility, comedian events would be ok to hear but still the seating is much to be desired. The area is prepared for these events as the gouge you for event parking at $30. Recommend getting there an hour early and park on the street for free.
