Having done a considerable amount of comparison shopping over the years, I can attest to the fact that the prices at Maynard Outdoor Store for most items are more than competitive. This includes shoes, jeans, winter clothes, camping gear, and brand names like North Face. Several times we've seen something at the store, checked on line, and then returned to the store to purchase from them. I've always liked the staff, and they're a lot more knowledgeable than most. Return policies are generous -- 2 weeks, but they're usually not too strict. I'm glad there's an independent store like this that continues to prosper in this area amidst the likes of impersonal department stores like Target and Wal-Mart.See more..
