    Fun little tram ride
Everything was easy and comfortable. The location, parking, exploring, booking tickets for the Express Train. That was like a ride at an amusement park. Started off with a story by perhaps the last plantation native, and his humble gratitude for us visitors. The guide was very friendly, attentive, educational, sharing with us all about the plants and animals we passed. She showed us how coconuts were husked, and we even got to see Dale Zarrella's amazing sculptures. The weather was beautiful and clear, there were so many variety of plants and trees, all laid out so neatly and pleasant to view. The drive was slow and steady so we had time to look out, take pictures, and enjoy the ride. We had an excellent experience in every way. Plus, the plantation itself is a world of its own- easy to just explore the vicinity by foot. We read about its history, and appreciated the creative ways they reused the mill parts to decorate. Didn't eat at the cafe, but found some nice gifts in their shop.

    Beautiful location, delicious food!
After the unexpected cancellation of a water activity, our family of 2 adults and 2 school aged children booked the Plantation Tour to fill our day. It was a pleasant surprise - the tram tour around the location was interesting and guide was great at storytelling. We had lunch at the restaurant on-site, which had a nice view and was good value for the high quality of food served. We were amongst locals who were there to celebrate the holidays, so we knew this was the real deal. This is a fantastic location to take family photos. The only downside was the marketplace, which was a little pricey. Overall it was a good visit.
