Good value for the convenience

From tee time scheduling, to check out. This course was nice. Friendly. Reasonably priced. Narrow fairways were challenging.

beautiful views and gem of a course
Awesome golf course that is not real long but tight enough to make you think your way around the 18 holes. Views are excellent and wildlife sightings normal. Staff members are friendly and helpful!

Widow's Walk - Confounding but worth it
I happen to live very near this track, and so, I've played the course many, many times. Widow's Walk is a golf course that needs your full attention and skill level. If you're new to the game and you can't decide on whether to try W/W or go to the movies...I'd recommend seeing the film. Some of the guys I used to with (who could play) will not go back to W/W. This said, I have learned to love this place. If you can play here, you can play almost anywhere - more properly stated, if you can keep it in play here ! The course is tight and penal if you miss a fairway or green - you may easily lose 4 or 5 golf balls in a day of play. But, for a muni, the course is kept pretty nice - the tee boxes aren't great but the greens are always is very good shape. The (ocean/marsh) views from a few of the tees are nothing short of gorgeous. The green fees are fair enough - if you elect to walk the layout, you must be fit enough to climb 2 steep grades. It's always a challenge to tackle Widow's Walk, which is probably the main reason I keep going back.
