The Veterans' Memorial Park is a small park with granite pillars containing the names of Chelmsford people who are or who have served in the Armed Forces. It's a good place to go to think about such people and to thank them for their scarifice and service to the community.

Impressive and peaceful
I came across this by accident while walking across the fens to Fenway Park. The memorial is quite impressive with the angel and the names of those from the area who died in the Korean, Vietnam and WW2 wars. The area is rather peaceful with greenery and flowers nearby. I passed the memorial a couple of times and only saw one other person in the area.

Quick and easy visit: peaceful and special
I was just driving down the street and noticed this delightful little park so decided to stop for a visit. Park in the school parking area and explore. A very quiet and restful spot with several different memorial "areas". A place of peace and respect. Open for all. I just wish there was more information about the different sections.
