Perfect for Walking there a lot of birds here

A very good park to walk around. It has tennis courts, trails, bike trails and big field to play football or soccer.

    home away from home
    As a youth I spent every waking hour in the summer over there playing baseball, or roaming in the woods. We participated in the Tuesday night road races for the kids. Tennis lessons were held at the tennis courts with a year end picnic.The section of the park across the street is not nearly developed, but is still a nice place to walk around . In the winter the town would put up boards and flood the basketball court and make a hockey rink. Later on we would bring our shovels the pond and shovel off a rink down there.

    Lots of open Space
    Park was clean, restrooms were not opened when I went to see a H.S. baseball game. The parking lot was crowded, the car entry was one lane only. Did not see many picnic tables or water fountains.
