Special Place
Went with my son-in-law Joe, an art collector and a medieval art historian. We loved it. Some very rare findings. Especially pleased with the French and Riviera displays. Certainly worth the visit.

Interesting campus art collection, with emphasis on P. T. Barnum and his Jumbo elephant
The Tufts University Art Galleries contain an interesting campus art collection, with an emphasis on the early American entrepreneur & circus prompter P. T. Barnum and his star attraction: Jumbo the gigantic circus elephant. Lots of original circus promotion posters and articles about the elephant are on display in the art galleries and around campus. So these art galleries combine various forms of media with some campus-specific history.
