They really know Tanzania and safaris. They custom designed one for me that turned out very very well -- TZ and Kenya.

Thrilled with our choice
A safari vacation was number one on my bucket list and selecting Thomson was absolutely the best choice! Our guide, Seph, was smart, enthusiastic, determined and such a great guy to spend 8+ hours per day with! The lodging was UPSCALE tents (don’t sleep indoors when on safari!) and were perfect! The food was amazing and the chefs went out of their way to accommodate everyone’s dietary needs! There seemed to be many ranges of Safari options. Thomson was high-end without being over-the-top, pampered high-end and one of the only companies using Range Rovers! Gibbs Farm is a MUST! Also, the out of pocket costs (drinks at night) are VERY minimal!!! This company also gives back to the community and to Tanzania! Highly recommend!

Trip of a lifetime
Very glad that we chose Thompson Safaris. Their attention to detail was outstanding! The accommodations were very comfortable. Everyone treated us like visiting royalty. Our guides were very knowledgeable about Tanzania and wildlife. They made sure that we had a wonderful time and that we saw thousands of animals.
