Celebrating 30 years...4/13/22

My daughter turning 30 had us looking for someplace different to celebrate with family. We had never eaten at the Rendevous before, and it was centrally located for the 3 cars that would bring the 7 of us together. Our server Ben, did a terrific job at tending to our needs, while running the whole show for everyone. I chose the meatloaf with potato slices and asparagus. My drink was called Caribbean Adventure and was sweet. Others chose a white pizza, nachos, quesadillas, burgers with different toppings, and a Chicken Sandwich. We arrived at 6 and left just before the band started playing at 8. It was great conversation at the back of the restaurant, and the bar and other tables had medium traffic for a Wednesday night. We had a fun evening Rendevousing at the Rendevous.

    Entertainment & Menu
    We spent a pleasant 3 hours over dinner and Fall Town Band --two sets by an unfrenzied group that clearly enjoys working together. They are regulars, first Thursday, and deserve something in the tip jar. From local towns, so you see them around. Dozen beers on tap, more in bottles. Food is calm to spicy, not a clone of other bars.

    Expanding menu in Inviting Space
    In recent years the offerings have broadened, a real feat for a kitchen on a lower level. Late night patrons wish it didn't close so early, but the answer is to get in promptly and make the choice. Election night had great TV facility and respectful audience.
