Lovely collection with a superb and highly knowledgeable quide
This is a well-organized presentation of art glass from New Bedford with comparable additions from other areas and manufacturers. There are some exquisite pieces in the collection! What made this special was a personalized walk-through by the extremely knowledgeable manager, with details on technique, personalities, and history of glass making in the US and elsewhere. Overall, a remarkable experience, well worth the time and money! Highly recommended

Nice museum with a variety of pieces
My 3 sisters and I were visiting the area on a rainy day and were looking for something to do inside. We decided on visiting the glass museum and were glad we did. It's located in the basement of an old mansion and was very interesting. The gentleman in charge gave us a very detailed tour of the museum. He was very knowledgeable and had a lot of information to give us. He took his time and explained the different eras, techniques and histories of the pieces on display. There is a small gift shop where you can purchase some pieces that have been donated and the proceeds go to the museum. It was a fascinating place and I would recommend checking it out.
