Community Library
There is just something special about walking into a library. Taunton Public Library is not new but it offers a sense of history. Welcoming staff and user friendly resources. It houses stacks upon stacks of books and if they don't have it, they can check within the Sails system and get it for you. Technology options are vast from free wifi to ebook borrowing. It also houses a quaint children's room with monthly activities for children of various ages. TPL offers a monthly book sale that provides a great variety of book and media options for those looking to score a good deal. Thanks to the Friends of the TPL, patron's are able to reserve passes to local museums and attractions. Our family uses this option frequently.

Taunton Public Library
A modern library in the Centre of Taunton providing an excellent range of services and near to local shops. We stayed in Taunton for a few days and travelled to other local places in Somerset, Minehead, an old fashioned seaside resort with a great steam railway, Wokey Hole Caves great family visit with kids play centre, Glastonbury Abbey for a monastic afternoon, Burton Bradstock in Dorset the end of Chisel Beach and the start of the Jurasic Coast and Lime Regis for an ice cream by the sea, nice few days.

Full service library
While we live in Raynham, MA, we often use the Taunton Library for hard to find books (that we need quickly) and for library passes (they have many more than the Raynham Library). Friendly and helpful staff.
