    Boston Marathon - Patriots Day
    The runners come from all over the globe to participate in this premier Marathon! Some running for their 1st time and some for their 50th. The sidewalks are packed from start to finish. Security is extra tight to protect the runners and spectators. One run runner left the course because of repeated cramping, another muscle tare and another from exhaustion. Simultaneously, the Red Sox game began at 1100am within a two block radius of the Marathon course. Worth the endeavor to see all the sports events

    Right outside of my great grandmother and my aunt's home.
    The starting line of the Boston Marathon holds a lot of sentiment for me being so closely located to the home of my late Nonna, and now my only aunt, so of course I'm biased. Every time I see it I remember the beautiful strong women in my family that have made it through life on their own by their own terms as well as the families affected in the attack at the finish line two years ago.
