Unique, Beautiful, Iconic Cape Cod

We arrived when the tide was fairly high, and even at high tide there was still lots of beach to explore. The views are beautiful as is the scenery. You could clearly see all the way to Provincetown. The beach itself is like looking at a Cape Cod postcard. As the tide went out, numerous tide pools, rocks and sandbars were exposed. At low tide, you feel like you could almost wade all the way to P-Town. We arrived a few days after Labor Day, so there was no cost to park and there were no crowds. Normally, I believe it costs $25 to park and the parking can apparently fill up quickly. Regardless, it’s a perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy a Beach Day. We highly recommend! -The PowerTrippers

    Relaxing Beach Great for Kids
Hands down my family's favorite beach on Cape Cod. Note that my family at the time of travel had 2 adults and 3 kids ranging from toddler to teen. This beach is best for younger kids or ones that aren't into jumping waves as there aren't any. Tide goes out for a LONG way. My older kids love to walk a beach and they got their fill here. Younger is all about playing in the sand and he was super happy. Ideally my teenager would like a boogie boarding beach but we never found one on either side of the Cape and we did two on each side Tips, go early, pay $30 for the day to park, bring snacks with you as you might move your setup out farther as the tide recedes making the walk back longer. You can do some swimming but only when tide is higher and it goes out pretty quick.

    Best spot for sunsets
Great beach especially for families with small kids . No waves and at low tide you can walk out quite a bit. Beach is long and you can walk through tidal pools and grasses heading north or south. Go after 4:30 to save the $30 parking fee! Beach can get crowded late afternoon since it’s the BEST spot to view awesome sunsets.
