    Good visit but definitely pricey
I was expecting our visit to be a disaster after reading all these terrible reviews. It's possible some of the staffing issues had been resolved since we went during the last week of August, but I have my doubt all of the issues magically disappeared. The restrooms were not terrible and I definitely saw multiple attendants cleaning. There were some food and ride closures but since it was our first time, I didn't really notice. A few notes: the lockers were very challenging to find and not all park employees know where they are located! To rent a locker, head to Rockville, near the Kiddie rides. Look for a faux storefront called "Scotty dog" (that's right, not "lockers"). It's a nice place to store your things during the day. I wish we had brought less stuff, but we thought we would be able to squeeze Hurricane Harbor in too (we didn't). I also recommend bringing your own water bottle, you can definitely refill them at drink machines. I bought an $11 refillable drink and I barely got a second glance when refilling. It wasn't a bad deal, so that's another option as well. The lines in the park were quite long for some rides which was frustrating. The fast pass is such a ripoff. I don't know how ppl justify spending the money for it, even though the lines are ridiculous. Also beware that the time estimates are not accurate and some can be less than the advertised wait time. Gotham City Gaunlet was my least favorite ride. If you get motion sick, I don't recommend it. There are a lot of sharp turns and herky jerky stop and goes. I was not feeling great after that ride (and yes, I had taken two motion sickness pills). The family favorite was Catwoman's Whip. It's a nice coaster without too many scares for the little kids. It didn't tend to have much of a line and the line is also mostly shaded, which is a plus. I really enjoyed the New England Skyscreamer (swings) ride. One of our kids had a meltdown and had to get taken off the ride before it started, but I quite liked the views. It has a thrill aspect, but there's not too much that can get you motion sick. We didn't pay for the park as we got tickets through an organization we're park of. I might not rate the park as highly if we paid for the tickets ourselves. Between the parking, an absurd $35 fee, the locker rental, the add-on fee for the water park, and the overall cost of food, I can imagine being deeply unhappy when leaving.

    Summer Fun
The park is a great family experience. Young or older can enjoy the rides together. The rides may look scary but not to fear, Never felt safer all the times I have been. You can just ride the rides or head to the water park to cool off . Either way it's all fun. If your just visiting for the day or live near by i recommend purchasing a season pass, Compared to other spots in New England besides Fenway Park the price is worth the trip.
