Nice clean water
I’ve tried to visit this beach many times, it is a big challenge, if you are not a resident, to find parking especially during weekends. There is another parking before the beach that you can park your car if not a resident but the spots are limited. Once you overcome parking problems then you can enjoy the beach :) Ive been there couple times, the water is deep and very cold for my taste, but my friend find it perfect and was swimming for an hour! I should not forget to mention that is always clean :)

Pictaresque, especially at sunset
This beach is a 15 minute walk from downtown, along beautiful neighborhoods with postcard-perfect houses. It's not a big beach, but it makes up for its size with its looks, especially at sunset. Great amenities. Worth the visit.

my visits
in the off months, I visit this beach frequently with my 2 dogs. They have the time of their lives, almost every time. I pick up 100% of what my dogs leave on the beach as do 99% of all who go there as others will get on their cases if they don't. I have been there when upwards of 50 dogs present and have never seen even 1 dogfight. my only wish is that I didn't live 50 miles away
