Movie Night
My family and I went here to see Creed II. The movie in itself was really good and the movie theater was great! The lobby was nice and clean and so was the theater we were in. The chairs were so big and comfortable, lots of room and the chairs reclined right out to get that "at home" feeling. We would be more than happy to go back here to see another movie. Thank you!

MX4D bringing the action even closer to your seat
Whilst in Boston on vacation we decided to see the much talked about blockbuster movie Black Panther. My husband being a bit of a film buff likes checking out different cinema technologies around the world. In the UK we don’t have MX4D screens, so we decided to book tickets to see the movie in Showcase Revere in the MX4D screen. We were staying at the Boston Park Plaza hotel (don’t miss out on my review of this hotel!) we got a Lyft to the Showcase Revere and took approx 20 mins to reach. We purchased our tickets in the cinema during the daytime, the lady who served us was extremely delightful, you could tell she knew how to do her job and enjoyed it. We reached the cinema approx 30 mins before the movie start time. As we hadn’t eaten we decided to grab a snack before the movie and some popcorn and fizzy pop for during the movie. The lines for the hot food was very long but we were hungry so persevered! There were plenty of good options, sweet churros, pizza, Nathans hot dogs, burgers, fries, onion rings etc. I decided on a basic but yummy Nathans hotdog. My husband made a better choice and got the corn dog. Both items were delicious but the corn dog was winner in this Weiner contest! We then got a large popcorn and regular and a large diet coke to keep us going during the movie. The cinema was nice and clean the seats look like something one would find on a Disney 4D ride! The individual seats are set on a bench all on one line and off the ground. As the movie played the seats moved at varying moments, there were effects that felt you were being punched in your back and butt, there were also little sprays of water during relevant film moments and scents that came wafting along. Overall I loved the MX4D effects and definitely thought it made the whole cinema experience more spectacular. My husband still prefers 4DX but then he’s not a fan of getting wet or smells. On the other side the movie itself was awesome as well! Overall a great night out at Showcase Revere!
