Opened in 1906, the Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley is the second oldest bowling alley still in operation in North America. This eight lane candlepin bowling alley offers eight lanes of bowling and a full bar. It is accessible through a narrow alley off of Bridge Street in the village of Shelburne Falls.

Authentic and a bit off the beaten path.
Experienced and novice candlepin bowlers will thoroughly enjoy visiting this 100+-year-old alley. Be prepared not to be barraged by electronic distractions and sharpen your math skills, since the location is devoid of video games and bowlers must keep their own score. This enhances the overall experience, making bowlers appreciate the time. Don't be afraid to walk down an alley to the alleys (how ironic) to find this hidden gem. You will appreciate the simplicity of this diversion from a time gone by. Simple good fun and a great way to spend an hour.

Great family fun!
This is a small (8 lane) bowling alley and is extremely old, I think maybe 100 yers old? But it is in excellent condition. The people that work there are super nice and helpful. They do not charge by the game, but by the amount of time you play. You can also have pizza from Pondside Pizza be delivered. They do have a jukebox amd drinks available onsite. We had a wonderful time, and highly recommend this place.
