Great experience with COVID seating
We watched King Lear at the New Spruce Theatre - the seating was perfect (and comfortable). They had COVID seating charts in place - seat skipped between each group so you felt comfortable. We could hear all actors (row D on the left close to the middle) and see the action. The play went over the 2 hour 50 minute run time which was fine with us as well as it appeared the entire audience. It had rained during the day and just finished half an hour before the show. The staff made sure to dry off all of the seats so it was a non-issue for us. It was a great location and all of the actors did a wonderful job!

Wonderful performance
We attend at least one performance at Shakespeare & Company every time we stay in the Berkshires. They have added additional outdoor performance spaces in response to the Covid pandemic, and our theater was outdoors. It was comfortable, small enough to feel like a personal experience, and the performance itself was wonderful. We highly recommend this theater company.
