Good- but beware valet parking charge
The ferry experience is fine- easy to get to the terminal, nice terminal facility with clean bathrooms, loading procedures, smooth fast ride, quick debarking. A little pricier than the Woods Hole ferries but a nice experience. However, the thing that left a bad taste was the cost of valet parking, which I was led to believe would be lower...then i got the bill at the end. Just be aware that they charge PER DAY, so e.g. Fri-Sun is 3 days, not 2. I was led to believe that Fri to Sat was 1 day & Sat to Sun was a 2d day, but actually they count it as 3 days. So your cost can go up quickly.

Poor Attitude, Poor Service
I’ve used Seastreak several times for vacationing to Nantucket. It’s much more convenient in comparison to Hyannis and I’ve always had a good experience. I travel with my 2 pups which generally doubles my luggage load and being a solo traveler there is no physical way to carry 3 bags and walk 2 dogs. In the past there have always been carts readily available in the waiting area to load luggage on to. This trip I had to hunt an employee down for help and ask for a cart to put my bags on to. The deck hand that “helped” me had an attitude that I even asked and mumbled under his breathe that it was a little late and that they have to strap everything down. Well, this is always the case with luggage and I’ve never heard of 30 mins prior to departure being late. I watched several other passengers struggle with their luggage, carrying multiple bags as well including a mom pushing an infant in a stroller and trying to pull a rolling suitcase and large tote bag. Employees/deck hands have always offered a cart for bags when seeing this in the past when I’ve traveled with them. The customer service was horrible this trip, most people aren’t going to nantucket for a daytrip and most people have luggage. They should always have carts and there should never be an attitude about having to load it.
