Beautiful no matter what time of year
It doesn't matter what time of year, or where you join the walk-- it's just a beautiful way to experience the power and majesty of the Atlantic ocean. Check the prevailing winds before you go, so you can be prepared clothing-wise. Like most Nantucket activities, it can be quite magical. View lots of seal families swimming by as they go to and from their resting grounds at Great Point. Walk as short or long as you like!

Very nice walk with fantastic views
This is a very nice, not long, walk with great views. It is around 2 miles round trip and there are views the entire way. There is one public path down to the beach if you are interested. We went on the off season and only saw one other couple. We took the public bus and it was a short walk from the bus stop. Note, in the off season there are zero services in the town.
