Near the beach!

I was camping by myself for the first time and hadn’t been camping even with friends in 10 years. I’ve only camped in California so wasn’t sure what to expect. I pulled in at 8:30, it was already dark. Bummer. But ok I can do this. Found my spot and someone offered me a flashlight and encouraged me to use my headlights to set up my tent. One of the campers had a string of twinkle lights which I love. It was sold out so very tight. Campers next to me were only a few feet away. Nice facilities but being TP bc most stalls were empty. Walked over to the beach and took in the view and the sounds of lapping water. Lots of skunks around. Lots. No skunk smell though. Slept well. Made coffee on micro camp stove in the morning for first time. Very proud of myself so yeah lots of instagram and tik tok french press coffee videos were made. Headed out the next morning for Acadia in Maine. No complaints. Had low expectations so really enjoyed it.

    Relaxing Stay
During this Covid-19 crisis, we have been left with little to do. My husband and I decided to try this beach. What a lovely experience. Parking is easy, it is never very crowded. We spend every Sunday morning here and thoroughly enjoy it!
