Decent beach with fun activities
Went to Salisbury Beach with my family for the first time in July. The beach itself was nice but there wasn't a lot of open sand for people to camp out but we found a spot. The water was freezing! But yes I went in and the waves were nice. The real plus is the boardwalk area, restaurants, shops and arcades. We had a blast playing 1980's games and new video games. We had ice cream. Heard a live band and watched the fireworks from the beach! Plus parking was easy. We will be back. Had a good time!

What fun!
We're staying a few blocks from the boardwalk with arcades, etc. Last night was an 80's cover band on the beach and they were fantastic! A lot of fun! Oh... and fried bread dough now comes in "bites", the best!

Piles of rubbish
The main beach around downtown area are just ok. Dirty beach and pretty good riptide at times. The Reservation to the south has a much better beach. The machine they use to comb the beach doesn’t do a great job.
