Great historic site
The Putnam house and surrounding village were great to see. The main house has authentic set ups in every room; kitchen with giant sized brick fire place for cooking, child's room, bedroom and living area with authentic pieces from that time (1720's). There is a school house which my kids loved seeing. Also a farm museum with equipment from that period. There is a look out tower in one of the buildings with minutemen clothing on display. I had to call for a tour but it was well worth it. Opens in late spring and into the Fall. Not crowded. Nice grounds and beautiful town. We went to Ryer's store after for ice cream, located on the other side of the commons. Very cool old country store with tons of antiques.

'VERY INTERESTING"
The Putnam House is very interesting to visit. It is interesting to see how they lived in the old days
