Nature Walk
Took an evening nature walk around the pond with my mom, it was nice. There’s also a “beach” area for those who would like to go swimmming etc.

Great spot
We've been coming here for years and love it. Very safe with all the life guards on duty. Docks to jump off and rafts to swim out to. There's a snack shack with plenty of food, drinks and snacks, as well as bathrooms and showers. For $5-10 you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, sailboats, or peddle boats. Can't go wrong here. Only thing to watch out for is it can be a little pricey if you aren't an Andover resident.

Especially nice in summer
The Andover community's swimming hole is a particularly welcome destination in summer, where kayaks and canoes can be rented as well as children swimming in the life-guard monitored cordoned area between the sandy beach, pier, and small floating raft. There are bathrooms, showers and changing rooms. The availability of the pond for swimming saves people of this area at least an hour to reach an ocean beach. The pond was named after Pompey Lovejoy who lived with his wife Rose in a cabin near its shore in the mid-19th century. Around the pond now are houses and Girl Scouts' Camp Maude Eaton in addition to the Andover recreational area.
