Nice, Quiet Beach

I hadn't been to Pierce Beach since I was a kid (a long time ago) and I only really recall going to the playground. It was nostalgic to see the big red slide. My mom and I had been going to a different beach for many years because it was free; however, free isn't always good. We decided to try Pierce Beach. It cost us $10 because we are not Somerset residents and it was on a Saturday. It was a beautiful, summer day and I was surprised to see how quiet it was. I've read some poor reviews about this beach but I found it to be lovely! The sand is nice and it's a clean beach. I was used to going to a rocky, dirty beach. There's also a bathroom (a luxury I did not have at my former beach). They even had an ice cream truck stop by. I didn't even know they still had ice cream trucks!!! I will definitely go back next summer!

    Nice, Quiet Beach

    Fun with nice views
    The park area has always been fun for kids of all ages! The beach area offers nice views, especially to watch the sunset. Or just to hang out without a long drive, it's a nice area, easy parking.
