    An Oasis in Newton
My husband and I had found selecting a burial site challenging until we visited Newton Cemetery. This is Newton's very own "Arnold Arboretum" or "Brooklyn Botanical Garden." Our visit, with a talented young man as our guide, turned out to be comforting and pleasant and we easily selected two plots, side by side, where our children and grandchildren will be able to visit us from time to time in the future. It is a pleasant place and not at all maudlin. Some people like to walk in this lovely place, but it is probably not suitable for children because of the underlying purpose, to bury the deceased.
