    So many beautiful things
It was our first time visiting and we were absolutely not disappointed. I read that they were hosting an orchid show after planning a visit which just made it so much better. My local library offers half price tickets so our visit was only $18 for two people. There was so much to see even in the off season, I was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of artists scattered around painting and crafting their own versions of what it was they were seeing. The orchids were beautiful and artfully arranged. They have lots of interesting and unusual plants for sale,as well as books, and odds and ends. There's also a cafe to sit and relax in and have a bite to eat.I can't wait to go back during the warmer weather and see what they have to offer.

    Worth a visit when sunny
We visited from U.K. in late October, so as expected the beds were a little bare, but looking at other photos here, it looks lovely earlier in the year. Notwithstanding that, it was a sunny day and we really enjoyed wandering around the property. The Enchanted Forrest area was lovely for young kids. Lights were being threaded thorough trees and plants for an upcoming festival. I enjoy kinetic sculptures so the “birds” were my favourite. If construction was happening last year, I think it just needs time fir plants to settle in and get more established. The only thing I missed was, despite the map, a better indication of how to flow around the place. We seemed to get somewhat trapped in the orangerie with lots of locked doors!
