    I love this hidden gem
The museum is a little smaller than when I was last there as they moved some organizational offices to the location, but this is still an amazing place. I went to scope out a possible field trip for my class and was happy with what I found. Currently there are a number of maps drawn in England during the time of the Revolutionary War and some truly iconic American art. It’s free and a great way to learn about our history as a country. This will be a great way to wrap up my Revolutionary War unit and bridge into 1812 and Westward Expansion with my 5th graders.

    Hidden Gem
When my children were small, we visited the Museum on a regular basis. It is small, but the exhibits were always interesting. The Masons have downsized the displays tremendously in the past few years, but it is still an interesting spot to visit.
