Best canoeing around.
We've been to many canoeing venues in the area. Nashoba Paddlers, by far, the best! We canoed upriver and barely passed another human and along the banks, there's walking paths and not much more. Unlike other canoe sites, it is undeveloped along the banks. You can almost imagine what the first settlers saw when they arrived in the new land. Definitely check it out!

Nice time of year
If you are looking for a relaxing time this is the thing to do. They have great prices and provide you with all the equipment to be safe. They are really nice people. Just try to get there to enjoy the day as you will want to stay out longer than you plan. It's fun and relaxing.

Beautiful river
Really enjoyable place to go kayaking. We had a groupon which allowed us a full day of paddling for $29. One really cool feature at this location is that they provide you a laminated map to take with you while you kayak. The map shows items of interest along the way, such as boathouses and bridges. There’s also descriptions of some of the wildlife you can see on the back of it. The river is really pretty, full of wildflowers, leaning trees, and plenty of turtles.
