Freedom!
Its nice to see that they opened a more free and relaxed section to the beach. My wife and I found some of the other nearby beaches to controlling with their mandatory clothing policy. Here we are 'free' to be bare our souls.

Serene afternoon
I visited the place during late winter, that's almost not like winter. It was so peaceful. I stepped on to the beach for a few minutes one of the afternoons. There was no traffic, the main beach parking was closed., and I could enjoy the waves and the low tide.. it was really serene.

Locals aren't keen on visitors--no access to parking for walking.
Nahant is a beautiful island just outside of Boston. However, except for limited parking on an undesirable part of the beach, there is no access where visitors can stop to passively enjoy it (such as simply walking). There is signage everywhere warning visitors that their cars will be towed. My husband visited years ago before this existed, and though we enjoyed our drive today, getting out of the car to actually enjoy it was what we hoped to do. It was disappointing.
