Excellent
This monument is very impressive, to get to the top one has to climb a spiral staircase. When we visited the National Park warden in attendance was an excellent source of information about the history of the area.

Stairs not open yet
You can look at the monument, but the stairs to climb it and enjoy the view are not open yet. I went on two consecutive Sundays when the website said it was open but it was not. Locals told me it’s likely because of the staffing shortages. However, there is a little known cemetery nearby in Duxbury on Chestnut Street called the Myles Standish Burial Ground. It is the oldest maintained cemetery in the US. Always open, park on the side street. Worth a visit.

Beautiful View
The climb to the top is worth it. Beautiful 360 degree view. It is an easy climb. However, there really isn't room to pass someone so be aware of that. Bathrooms are portable so that could be an issue for some. Check the website for hours. The monument is not open every day.
